Originally built in the 1990s, the Rainforest Rooms were a classic pole-home style building, perched amongst the trees just a short 100-metre walk from Hastings Street. Despite being right in the heart of Noosa, the setting feels worlds away, with the surrounding rainforest and flowing creek creating a peaceful, treehouse-like retreat.
Working closely with interior designer Chloe Tozer, we completely reimagined the space. The original 16-bed mixed dorm was transformed into a thoughtfully designed two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, alongside two six-bed female-only dorms with a shared kitchen and dedicated female amenities.
Full of character, colour and personality, the finished spaces are unlike anything else in Noosa. The bold interiors, carefully selected finishes and unique design details have turned the building into something truly unique while celebrating its original charm. Guests can enjoy a peaceful, treehouse-like escape while still being only a short stroll from Hastings Street.
